In an interview on The Open Mind, public television’s longest-running interview program, President Daniel H. Weiss discusses the opportunities and challenges for small private colleges in America.

The show, taped Dec. 11, will air at noon Saturday, April 5, on WNET-TV/Channel 13, the flagship PBS affiliate in New York City. It will be rebroadcast on CUNY-TV/Channel 75 at 8 a.m., 2 p.m., and 8 p.m. on Monday, April 28, and at 9:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 4.

The Open Mind features prominent figures in the media, arts and sciences, education, business, government, and other areas of life. Richard D. Heffner, Distinguished Professor of Communications and Public Policy at Rutgers University, has been the host and producer since 1956.

“Is College Worth the Cost?”
