Sweet Corn Festival will be Aug. 8

The Easton Farmers’ Market will hold a Sweet Corn Festival Saturday, Aug. 8 in Centre Square.

The event will include a corn husking contest, children’s crafts and games, and live music from Michael Beck. Market venders will offer sweet corn with gourmet specialty butters, corn fritters, cornbread, corn salsa, corn relish and jellies, and fresh squeezed lemonade.

As the nation’s oldest continuously operating open-air farmers’ market, the Easton Farmers’ Market offers information, ideas, recipes, and more from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday, May through November.
