She’s the author of Big Career in the Big City: Land a Job and Get a Life in New York

Vicki Salemi ’95 appeared on the ABC News Now program May 4 to discuss her new book, Big Career in the Big City: Land a Job and Get a Life in New York (Jist Works).

As a freelancer, Salemi writes about entertainment, careers/business, pop culture, fashion, and health/wellness, among other topics. She’s also a ghostwriter, copywriter, and the national spokesperson for ClassesUSA.com, an online higher-education portal.

As the East Coast entertainment reporter for SheKnows.com, Salemi has interviewed celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Uma Thurman, Ben Affleck, and Kanye West. She’s covered the Cannes Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, Fashion Week, the Matrix Awards, and other exclusive events. Her career pieces have been published by Yahoo! HotJobs, New York Post, New York Daily News, AOL, MSN, Forbes.com, and other outlets.
