Hundreds of students, faculty, and staff had a swinging time dancing to the music of the George Gee Orchestra during the annual Presidential Ball. The campus-wide tradition began in 2006 when the Office of Student Life Programs was asked to plan a student event to celebrate the inauguration of President Daniel H. Weiss. The success of the inaugural ball led the Board of Trustees to request that it be made an annual tradition.
