Young, who graduated with dual degrees in English and art, began her career as Anna Wintour’s assistant at Vogue.

Having excelled as an English student at Lafayette, including assisting Donald Miller, MacCracken Professor of History, for three years with his acclaimed City of the Century: The Epic of Chicago and the Making of America, she had set out to become a fashion writer.

Express-Times Reporter Tiffany Bentley tells the story well in a feature published April 17.

Young’s client list includes Rachel Weisz, Selma Blair, Rachel McAdams, and more. She selects designer fashions for these stars as well as organizing photo shoots for the top fashion magazines. In a Jan. 18 interview with New York, she explained that she liked working with people that she admires, “so I don’t have a huge roster like other stylists.”

An Easton native, Young is the daughter of Barbara and Jim Young. Barbara Young, now retired from Lafayette, was the assistant athletic director and coach for women’s and men’s tennis and women’s volleyball and basketball.
