Francine Kay Affourtit, a New York-based artist working with printmaking, sculpture, and installation, worked with Lafayette students in art classes last week at the Experimental Printmaking Institute. Her work focuses on woodcut printmaking, using relief printmaking as a starting point from which to investigate the process of printmaking as a format for unique sculptural installations.
