Photo Galleries: Poet Jayne Cortez and Artist Clifford Charles Work with Students

South African artist Clifford Charles and poet and film director Jayne Cortez visited campus last week for a series of student workshops, poetry readings, and lectures. Their residencies were made possible by Lafayette’s David L. Sr. and Helen J. Temple Visiting Artist Fund and the African studies program.

The David L. Sr. and Helen J. Temple Visiting Artist Fund, established in 2000 by Trustee Emeritus Riley K. Temple ’71 in honor of his parents, is committed to the support and encouragement of the work of artists, curators, and art historians.
