Local children and Easton Mayor Sal Panto took part in a variety of activities organized by Lafayette students to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ 108th birthday last weekend in Farinon College Center. Lafayette’s 12th annual Literacy Day was done in conjunction with the National Education Association’s Read Across America program to promote enthusiasm for reading. The event was sponsored by the Landis Community Outreach Center.
