The offering of tickets to members of the campus community beginning Feb. 20 for the upcoming addresses by three world figures in April was so successful that the supply of tickets for these events is exhausted. Renowned primatologist and conservationist Jane Goodall, founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Peace, will deliver the Thomas Roy and Lura Forrest Jones Visiting Lecture for 2012-13 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 11.

There will be no second offering of tickets to students, faculty, staff, and retirees as had been planned pending the availability of tickets, and there will be no general offering to audiences beyond the campus (alumni, parents, and the public).

Tickets will be required to attend the talks by Tony Blair and Jane Goodall. President Carter’s address is scheduled to be held on the Quad, and tickets will be required only if the event is held in the rain site, Kamine Gymnasium.

  1. If I ordered tickets and haven’t picked them up yet, are they still available? Thanks.

  2. Kudos to Lafayette! This is an amazing set of speakers. I am sure my sister who is deeply involved in animal rights causes/media would love to hear Jane Goodall’s address. I would like to attend all of them, but hopefully at least that given by Jimmy Carter. I just read some research where Berry Gordy (of Motown fame) is distantly related to Jimmy Carter’s mother (Miss Lillian/Bessie Lillian Gordy). Wow! I love Jimmy Carter; he is a great man, giving back to the world through love and example.
