Photos and Video: Students and Alumni Celebrate Founding of Lafayette

Students and alumni from around the globe celebrated the 187th anniversary of the founding of Lafayette College this month. Alumni gathered in 25 U.S. locations and seven other countries March 9 to take part in Wine 3/9: A Coast to Coast Toast to Lafayette. President-Elect Alison Byerly greeted alumni chapters with the following message:

On campus, students attended the non-alcoholic Dine 3/9 with President Daniel H. Weiss and special guest Cindy Linville ’80 P’13. The annual event celebrates the signing of the charter establishing the College by the governor of Pennsylvania March 9, 1826.
