The Department of Facilities Planning and Construction has provided a clearinghouse of information about sustainability initiatives at the College, including the President’s Climate Commitment, the Climate Action Plan, the Urban Ecology Program, composting, curriculum, Dining Services programs, energy policy, purchasing, recycling, transportation, U-Haul Care Share, and several other programs. Springer e-books now available
Lafayette library users now have access to electronic books published by Springer from 2005-12. The bulk of Springer’s titles are in the sciences, engineering, nad economics. Gifts From Home is a Dining Services program for sending students personally prepared care packages. Possible contents range from fresh-baked birthday cakes, cookies, and brownies to local fresh seasonal baskets. Orders must be placed five business days in advance to guarantee delivery.
