iPhone app connects to computing training videos
The Lynda.com iOS app now works for lynda.lafayette.edu. On the login screen, click the [Web portal log in] button and type in https://lynda.lafayette.edu in the URL field. Google Apps available
Those with a Lafayette network ID can take advantage of the services and collaboration provided by Google Apps. There consumer services, including Google Docs, spreadsheet, form, presentation, and drawing; consumer services, including Google Analytics, bookmarks, maps, Reader, Picasa, and YouTube; and Aviary Suite, a set of multimedia creation and editing tools. Gilbert’s offers late-night delivery, sangria & tapas Wednesdays
Gilbert’s has begun late-night delivery to residence halls, 9 p.m.-1 a.m. Saturday through Wednesdays. There is an $8 minimum order required and last orders are taken at 12:30 a.m. Gilbert’s also is featuring sangria and tapas every Wednesday. Visit the Dining Services website.

New hours set for computing assistance
Beginning Sept. 5, hours for the Lafayette Help Desk will be 7 a.m.-midnight Monday-Friday, noon-7 p.m. Saturday, and noon-midnight Sunday. The library recently started subscribing to Naxos Music Library, an online audio collection covering classical, jazz, and world music. Searches in the library catalog will uncover music from Naxos and provide a link directly to the album.
Links to HathiTrust Digital Library added to catalog
Links to HathiTrust Digital Library now appear in the library catalog for titles in Lafayette’s collection that are available in full text from Hathi. HathiTrust is a membership-driven digital repository of books and other materials from research libraries across the country. The titles available in full text are books in the public domain.
