NFL Special Teams Standout Blake Costanzo ’06 Returns to 49ers

Former Lafayette College linebacker and special teams standout Blake Costanzo ’06 rejoined the San Francisco 49ers Tuesday, signing 2 ½ years after leaving the organization to play for the Chicago Bears. He signed a one-year contract for the veteran minimum of $855,000 for players with seven to nine years of experience.

As Lafayette prepares to host the 150th Lafayette-Lehigh football game at Yankee Stadium on Nov. 22, 2014, the College has launched a special section entitled “My Rivalry” to allow Leopard alumni, fans, students, parents, faculty, and staff the opportunity to share their favorite story about the rivalry and check out great stories from others.

Lafayette football defeated No. 15-ranked Lehigh, 50-28, in front of a sold-out crowd at Goodman Stadium in Bethlehem.
