Health Professions Programming

Throughout the academic year, we hold a number of meetings of interest to students in the Health Professions. We strongly encourage you to become involved with this group and to take advantage of our activities.

At these meetings, we provide information about courses, internships, externships, national trends in the health professions, presentations from health professionals (including alumni of Lafayette), field trips to health professional schools or fairs, etc.

These meetings will be beneficial as you develop your career path and begin to make the many choices you will face in the years to come. You will register with Mrs. June Thompson, Coordinator of Scholars and Health Professions Programs, for all of the scheduled health professions events. She can be reached at (610) 330-5521 or through email at thompsoj@lafayette.edu.

Please Note: Every NOVEMBER we hold a special information session for juniors, seniors and alumni who intend to apply to a health professions school. This is an important meeting. As such, it is imperative that sometime between September and the end of October you inform Dean Goldberg and Mrs. Thompson that you plan to be one of those applicants.
