"Beautiful architecture, perfectly manicured grounds, cutting edge technology and the most inspiring and energetic students and faculty make Lafayette one of the most desirable liberal arts colleges in the United States."
The Barron's Guide to the Most Competitive Colleges

For several decades, nearly 800 worldwide Lafayette College alumni have been instrumental in assisting the admissions office recruit thousands of students.  Over the years, these students have included scholars, athletes, musicians, artists, writers, and much more.  These students have been valuable contributors to the Lafayette College community.

Competition for the best and brightest students is keen.  As college costs rise and increasing numbers of families compare the value of the education at Lafayette to that of our competitors, we must now, more than ever, show our prospective students and their families the value of a Lafayette education.  Students admitted to Lafayette generally find themselves with terrific options for their college education.   The Lafayette community must work together to enroll a strong incoming class each year.

As an AAR, your primary function is to promote the educational and personal opportunities offered at Lafayette while attending college fairs, high school visits, and conducting personal interviews.  Your secondary function is to provide the admissions office with supplementary information about prospective students. The responsibility lies with all of us to bring in the strongest class possible.
