By interacting with people and making friends, you find commonalities among the differences we have. Conversations on a social level can completely change perspectives and can change or eliminate stereotypes and bridge cultural gaps. People on campus are open to conversations that explain and teach. Lafayette’s size makes it impossible for anyone to be completely separate – you have to interact, and if you just change one person’s mind, that’s success. I hope I have changed a few people’s minds.
