Junior Visiting Day - April 26, 2008

High school juniors and their parents looking to jump start the college admissions process and begin to discover The Lafayette Experience are invited to campus on Saturday, April 26, 2008.

The day is designed to provide an overview of Lafayette and help you prepare for the college search and application process. Below is an approximate schedule for the day's events. Detailed schedules will be available at registration.

8:15-9 a.m.	Registration Students with last names A-K in Williams Center for the Arts on High Street Students with last names L-Z in Pfenning Alumni Center on Hamilton Street
9-11:30 a.m.	Morning Program Campus Exploration Explore the campus, visiting select academic buildings and residence halls. Student representatives will be available to tell you more about the campus and help you find your way. (Please note that due to the volume of guests, we cannot offer individual tours.) Lafayette College Information Panel Learn about academics and student life from current students and an admissions director.
11:45 - 1:30 p.m.	Midday Program Lunch, Kirby Sports Center Enjoy lunch prepared by campus dining services and tour the state-of-the-art athletic complex. You Make the Call Take a behind-the-scenes look at application review with real admissions case studies.
1:45 - 2:30 p.m.	Afternoon Program The "Me" Beyond the SAT Get tips on how to set yourself apart through college interviews and essays. Financial Aid at Lafayette Listen to and ask about the entire process from required forms to final packages.
