Visiting Campus During the Fall 2009
Visiting our campus will help you to make an informed decision about whether Lafayette College is the right fit for you. Please take advantage of the opportunity to participate in an on-campus interview, group information session and/or student-led tour. All of these options provide the means for you to learn more about the many programs and opportunities available to our students. Group information sessions are hour-long interactive presentations led by a member of the admissions staff, while an interview provides a prospective student with the opportunity to sit down, one-on-one, with an admissions officer. Visitors to campus requiring special assistance, such as a wheelchair, should call our office at (610) 330-5100 in advance of their visit so we can make the arrangements. Please note that families requiring a handicap accessible entrance to Markle Hall should enter through the back of the building to the human resources office and then use the elevator up to the first floor where the admissions office is located.

Detailed information about the events listed on the calendar is provided below.Campus Tours Student led tours of the campus last approximately one hour. No appointment is necessary to attend a campus tour. Campus tours are offered on weekdays at 10:00, 11:00, 1:00, 2:00, and 3:15. *Note – please refer to the pdf calendar and the limited tour dates listed below Individual Interviews Lafayette College offers individual interviews for prospective members of the class of 2014. Interviews provide the student an opportunity to share information about their candidacy with an admissions director and to ask questions about the college. Individual interviews for applicants to the class of 2014 can be scheduled between May 1 and December 30. Interviews are offered Monday through Friday for approximately 40 minutes at the following time slots: 9:00, 9:40, 10:20, 11:00, 1:20, 2:00, 2:40, 3:20. An appointment IS necessary for an individual interview. Please call 610-330-5100 to schedule an appointment. Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled interview appointment. Weekday Group Information Sessions Offered Only On: October 12 Columbus Day November 5 NJ Teachers' Convention November 11 Veterans' Day Saturday Campus Visits On selected Saturday mornings during the academic semester we offer a combination group information session and campus tour. Please refer to the calendars linked above to see the Saturdays that are available. This is a two hour visit from 10:00 am-12:00 noon. An appointment IS necessary for a Saturday session. Please call the admissions office at 610-330-5100 to schedule an appointment. Limited Tour Schedule in Effect on the Following Dates: ***Tours will only be offered at 10:00 and 2:00 October 9 through October 14 November 24, 25, and 30 December 14 through January 4 The Admissions Office Will Be CLOSED on the Following Dates: September 7 Labor Day November 26 & 27 Thanksgiving December 24, 25, 31 & Jan 1 Holidays Overnight Visits The overnight program will run from September 14 through December 9. Overnights are available for high school seniors Sunday through Thursday nights, on a limited basis. Overnight visits are NOT available on Friday or Saturday nights. A minimum of 2 weeks notice is REQUIRED. Please call the Admissions office to make arrangements at 610-330-5100.
