Family Weekend 2008
Friday - Registration 3-8 p.m. in the Farinon Atruim. Open classes are available 1:10-4 p.m. The list of classes will be posted at the registration desk and on the Parent website. Also: tours, open houses, special dinners, and a student musical performance in Colton Chapel at 8 p.m.
Saturday - Registration 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Farinon Atrium. Family Brunch, Panels & Discussions, Open Houses, President's address, tours, sports, Academic Showcases, Block pARTy and Family Tailgate in Kamine Gym before the football game. Enjoy a student talent show after the game. It will be a wonderful time for the whole family! Sunday - Campus Landscape Tour, a brunch, and religious services. The College Bookstore will be open 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Sep. 13, 2008

Seventh Annual Pre-Game Block pARTy
![]() Come and enjoy one of Lafayette's favorite traditions! Join hundreds of students, staff, faculty, alumni, family, fans, and friends for student art exhibitions, music, dance, interactive (free!) arts activities, and yummy food from Fat Daddy's Southern Bar-B-Q, Forks Mediterranean Deli, Gilbert's Café, Mex-Tex Trio, and the Quadrant Coffeehouse! (Food is FREE to students with ID until 5:45 p.m.--just pick up a voucher at the Hamilton Street table.) Performers include Gough & Kelley Jazz, Soulfege, dancer Nick DeRosa, Cadence, Marquis Players, Lafayette Cheerleaders, Synchromotion, Lafayette Dancers, Japanese Interest Floor, and Lafayette Pep Band. Sunday Vigil Mass: The Exaltation of the Holy Cross
This quiet, "low"liturgy is provided for the convenience of visiting families, supplanting this year the 5:00 PM Mass.
The ubiquitous use of the Cross among Christians too often masks its inverting and transforming power, relevant to each and all. Readings: Nm 21:4-9; Ps 78; Phl 2:6-11; Jn 3:13-17 Colton Chapel
