Nature (Re)Made: Genomics and Art

A growing number of artists have sought inspiration in genomics and biotechnology, including choreographer Liz Lerman, whose Ferocious Beauty: Genome (to be performed at the Williams Center on November 14. The artists included in Nature (Re)Made conduct explorations revolving around genetic research and the effect of biotechnology in health care and environmental concerns. RefWorks Workshop: Save time with an online research management tool
RefWorks helps you organize a research project by allowing you to store references online and format a bibliography at the click of a button. During this hands-on workshop, you will create a RefWorks account; learn how to import references from the Library Catalog, Academic OneFile, JSTOR and other databases; be exposed to the many ways of managing references, notes, and files within your account; and use RefWorks to generate bibliographies in multiple styles. You will also be introduced to the Write-n-Cite plugin that works together with Microsoft Word to synchronize in-text citations with a bibliography.
