San Francisco Bay Area Chapter Tour of the King Tut Exhibit
The Bay Area Chapter of the Lafayette Alumni Association invites you to join them for a tour of Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs.

More than 3,000 years after his reign, and 30 years after the original exhibition opened in San Francisco, Tutankhamun, ancient Egypt's celebrated boy king, returns to the de Young Museum. The Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs is a glorious exhibition of over 130 outstanding works from the tomb of Tutankhamun, as well as those of his royal predecessors, his family, and court officials.

All First-year students should arrive at their assigned residence hall between 7:00 am and 11:00 am. There will be no access to residence hall rooms prior to 7:00 am on August 27.

Parent Orientation
Parents of all new students are asked to attend a Parent Orientation Program Thursday afternoon. While students are attending their first Residence Hall Floor Meeting, parents will meet with staff from academics, student life, the health center, and the counseling center as well as upper class parents and students. The program will include a presentation by Donna Krivoski on the services offered by the Parent Relations Office. The Class of 2013 Welcome, for students and parents, will follow. This is the official beginning of Student Orientation. Parents are then invited to a reception at the President's House. Schedules will be available at each residence hall's check-in.
