Parents of all new students are invited to attend the Parent Orientation Program. While students are attending their Residence Hall Floor Meeting, parents will meet with staff from academics, student life, the health center, and the counseling center as well as upper class parents and students. The program will include a presentation by Donna Krivoski on the services offered by the Parent Relations Office. The Class of 2012 Welcome will follow. This is the official beginning of Student Orientation. Parents are then invited to a reception at the President's House. Schedules are available at each residence hall's check-in.

Friday - Registration 3-8 p.m. in the Farinon Atruim. Open classes are available 1:10-4 p.m. The list of classes will be posted at the registration desk and on the Parent website. Also: tours, open houses, special dinners, and a student musical performance in Colton Chapel at 8 p.m.

Saturday - Registration 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Farinon Atrium. Panels & Discussions, open houses, brunch, President's address, tours, sports, Academic Showcases, Block pARTy and a family tailgate on the Quad before the football game. Enjoy a student talent show after the game. It will be a wonderful time for the whole family!

Sunday - Chateau Chavaniac Tour, Campus Landscape Tour, a brunch, and religious services. The College Bookstore will be open 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Spend a day on the Lafayette College campus learning more about our programs. Included in the day are admissions and financial aid information sessions, campus tours, a faculty and student panel, and a chance to visit various offices and buildings on campus.

This open house is specifically geared towards students with an interest in Engineering. Prospective students will have the opportunity to meet with Engineering faculty and students, tour the facilities, and observe classes.

This day is an opportunity to learn more about Lafayette College through campus tours, information sessions, and attending classes. Prospective students will be able to hear from a panel of students about life at Lafayette and meet with Michael Benitez, Director of Intercultural Development.

All applications are due on this date. The College uses only the common application and a supplement specific to Lafayette. Submit application, supplement, and nonrefundable $60 application fee by Jan. 1, 2009.

Members of the Communications Committee and Family Weekend Committee of the Lafayette Parent Association will hold their annual luncheon and meeting. This is also the day students return to campus for the spring semester. The luncheon begins at 11:30 am in Marquis Hall. The meetings will follow at 1:00 pm.

To be considered for all types of financial aid awarded by Lafayette College, applicants must submit the Profile, the FAFSA, tax returns, W-2s and any supplemental information.

Applicants must submit signed copies of 2008 federal tax returns along with all schedules and W-2s for both student and parent(s) and any applicable supplemental forms by March 15, 2009.

Students will be notified of their admissions decision no later than April 1, 2009 if they applied as regular decision candidates for the class of 2013.

Students who have been accepted to the College will be invited to campus to spend the day learning more about Lafayette and the opportunities available to them.

Current high school Juniors can come to the Lafayette campus to tour the facilities, meet current students and faculty, and learn about the College.
