New Student Orientation

New Parent Orientation
Parents of all new students are invited to attend the Parent Orientation Program. While students are attending their Residence Hall Floor Meeting, parents will meet with staff from academics, student life, the health center, and the counseling center as well as upper class parents and students. The program will include a presentation by Donna Krivoski on the services offered by the Parent Relations Office. The Class of 2012 Welcome will follow. This is the official beginning of Student Orientation. Parents are then invited to a reception at the President's House. Schedules are available at each residence hall's check-in.

Family Weekend 2008
Friday - Registration 3-8 p.m. in the Farinon Atruim. Open classes are available 1:10-4 p.m. The list of classes will be posted at the registration desk and on the Parent website. Also: tours, open houses, special dinners, and a student musical performance in Colton Chapel at 8 p.m.
Saturday - Registration 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Farinon Atrium. Panels & Discussions, open houses, brunch, President's address, tours, sports, Academic Showcases, Block pARTy and a family tailgate on the Quad before the football game. Enjoy a student talent show after the game. It will be a wonderful time for the whole family! Sunday - Chateau Chavaniac Tour, Campus Landscape Tour, a brunch, and religious services. The College Bookstore will be open 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Sep. 26, 2008

Parent Volunteer Day
Members of the Communications Committee and Family Weekend Committee of the Lafayette Parent Association will hold their annual luncheon and meeting. This is also the day students return to campus for the spring semester. The luncheon begins at 11:30 am in Marquis Hall. The meetings will follow at 1:00 pm.
