Skillman Library is the main college library, built to replace Van Wickle Library. It is named for long-time secretary of the Board of Trustees, David Bishop Skillman (1887-1965). The 1986 north wing was funded by and named for William E. Simon '52 and Carol G. Simon. Gifts received through the Lafayette Leadership Campaign (1995-2001) enable the College to modernize the library through extensive interior and exterior renovations and the addition of 28,555 square feet.
