All parents of current Lafayette students are members of the Parents Association. As a member, you are entitled to receive all parent publications, Lafayette Magazine, and invitations to College events in your area and on campus. All members are encouraged to attend these events to keep up to date with what is happening on campus.

The Parents Association has two standing committees.

COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE members review a different parent publication or program each year and meet once at the beginning of the spring semester. This committee also reviews the Parents Home Page.

FAMILY WEEKEND COMMITTEE members attend and evaluate Family Weekend in the fall and meet once during the spring semester to review the activities and assist with planning. Several parents also volunteer to assist with activities during the weekend.

PUBLICATIONS

Lafayette parents receive several publications. Parents of new students receive the Parents Handbook (most of the information is integrated into this website). All parents receive the parents newsletter, Hill to Home, in the fall and spring. They also receive the Food & Lodging Guide and issues of Lafayette Magazine (fall and spring).

For the students’ perspective on college life, some parents subscribe to the weekly student newspaper, The Lafayette. A subscription form will be mailed to you from The Lafayette office or you can order a one-year subscription by sending $49.00 (check made out to "The Lafayette") to Box 9741, Lafayette College, Easton, PA 18042.
