Tips for Optimal Viewing of Video Streaming
- Be sure you have the latest release of Windows Media Player downloaded and installed.
- Only stream one event at a time. Attempting to stream other media on your computer can reduce your bandwidth and make video difficult to see.
- Ensure that your broadband connection is only being used by one computer in your home. Using multiple computers on some home networks also reduces available bandwidth and makes streaming difficult.
- Understand that live video streaming can appear choppy at times with frequent stops and starts. In addition, the full-screen option appears quite blurry at close range and requires a distance of at least five feet from the screen. Quarter-screen video (which is what initially comes up) is fairly standard with live streaming video.
