Tips for Optimal Viewing of Video Streaming

  1. Be sure you have the latest release of Windows Media Player downloaded and installed.
  2. Only stream one event at a time. Attempting to stream other media on your computer can reduce your bandwidth and make video difficult to see.
  3. Ensure that your broadband connection is only being used by one computer in your home. Using multiple computers on some home networks also reduces available bandwidth and makes streaming difficult.
  4. Understand that live video streaming can appear choppy at times with frequent stops and starts. In addition, the full-screen option appears quite blurry at close range and requires a distance of at least five feet from the screen. Quarter-screen video (which is what initially comes up) is fairly standard with live streaming video.
