The Graduates Choir Will Perform Christmas Vespers Dec. 12 Lafayette’s The Graduates choir will present its annual candlelight Christmas Vespers concert of favorite seasonal carols and anthems 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, in Colton Chapel. The College’s Chamber Singers will be guest choir under the direction of Jennifer Kelly, assistant professor of music and director of choral activities. The Christmas Vespers concerts were originated by the late John D. Raymond, founder of The Graduates, and have been performed annually since 1985. Philip A. Gehman ’56 directs The Graduates. The public is invited and tickets are not required. A freewill offering will be received for the John D. Raymond Fund to benefit special choral music awards and activities at the College.

College Launches 1826 Challenge
New gifts to the Annual Fund in June will trigger grants totaling up to $100,000 in the 1826 Challenge. S. Robert Beane '58, James Fisher '77, George Jenkins '74, and Bob Sell '84 have pledged funding providing another $25,000 to Lafayette as each level of new gifts is reached: 250, 600, 1,000, and 1,826 gifts. Each week in June, a pair of tickets to November's Lafayette-Lehigh football game will be given to a new donor through a drawing. The 1826 Challenge webpage will debut a different video created for the campaign on the first four Tuesdays of the month. To receive notification when a new video has been posted, email fund@lafayette.edu. The webpage also will provide updates on the campaign’s progress and reveal the winners of the drawings.

Making Lafayette Connections on Facebook
A new application brings together the firepower of Lafayette’s Alumni Online Community and Facebook, making it easier than ever to network and keep in touch with alumni. Facebook users can access the feature by searching on “Lafayette College Alumni Connections.” Options in the interface include searching for classmates, viewing and registering for alumni events, reading and posting class notes, posting a resume, obtaining a personalized Lafayette email forwarding address, and updating contact information. Alumni Connections also enables users to receive email notifications from the application, to post it to their Facebook profile, and to invite their friends to add it.

Lafayette Will Welcome Back Alumni for Reunion Weekend June 5-7
Alumni will return to campus during Reunion Weekend June 5-7 to share memories and good times with classmates while seeing firsthand how Lafayette has changed since their days on College Hill. Reunion College will bring alumni back to the classroom Friday and Saturday as they take in presentations from professors and other speakers, including President Dan Weiss, who also will give an update on "The Plan for Lafayette." A parade on College Hill, golf outing, receptions, cocktails, socials, picnic, dinners, dancing, and other activities will bring alumni together. The full weekend itinerary also includes building tours, an admissions workshop for children of alumni, a concert by The Graduates, and more.
