EASTON, Pa.(www.lafayette.edu), April 27, 2007 — Delta Delta Delta sorority will host its first pancake breakfast for Lafayette students 10 p.m.-1 a.m. Saturday, April 28 at the sorority house, 2 West Campus Lane.

Tickets for the “Flapjack Attack” are $3 at the door. Pancakes and juice will be served by sorority members.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the sorority’s national philanthropic partner, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. So far this year, Delta Delta Delta has raised over $6,500 for St. Jude’s.

“Since 1999, the Delta Delta Delta national fraternity has raised over $3.5 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital,” explains psychology major Corey Kosydar ’08 (Greentown, Pa.), who is the sorority’s philanthropy chair. “The most recent commitment Tri Delta has made to St. Jude’s was a $10 million commitment over the course of 10 years, which will go toward a new Tri Delta patient care floor in the Chili’s Care Center.”
