
Robert Tinsman '27
Lafayette’s oldest living alumnus, Robert Tinsman ’27, 101, died Sept. 28 in Bethlehem, Pa. He would have turned 102 on Oct. 30.
Tinsman served his class as correspondent from its 25th reunion to the time of his death. He was featured last year on the alumni web site and in the Alumni News.
Services were held privately. His family has requested that donations in his honor be made to Lafayette College, Development Office, 307 Markle Hall, Easton, PA 18042.
Lafayette’s oldest living alumnus is believed to be Joseph J. Robinson Jr. ’29, born Dec. 11, 1906. Another centenarian, Frederick W. Light Jr. ’26, died July 22.
