On Move-in Day in August, parents of new students are invited to attend Parent Orientation. While students are attending their first Residence Hall Floor Meeting, parents attend a session presented by college personnel, upper-class students and parents.

Parent Orientation Program: Parents of new students will learn about the many services offered by the Parent Relations Office and will receive important information from the areas of academics, tutoring, health services, student life and student life. Upper-level students and parents will offer their “Do’s and Don’ts” for parents based on their experiences and offer advice on how parents can respond to several issues that may confront new students. This is the time parents can ask their remaining questions before the semester begins.
