Chapin and Heinze Join Board of Trustees
Samuel R. Chapin 79 and Martha A. Heinze 86 were
elected to the Board of Trustees
May 18 and began five-year terms July 1. Chapin is vice chairman
and a member of the Executive Client Coverage Group of Merrill Lynch & Co., New York City. Heinze is program manager for Network Management in the Treasury and Securities Services division of JPMorgan Chase & Co.,
New York City.
Three board members were
re-elected to five-year terms, Edward W. Ahart 69, managing partner in the law firm of Schenck,
Price, Smith & King, Morristown, N.J.; Richard A. Grossman 64, president of Interstate Building Corp., Tarrytown, N.Y.; and
George M. Jenkins 74, president of Merritt Capital Inc., Radnor, Pa.
Three retiring trusteesRobert L. Yohe 58, vice chair of the board, Nancy Brennan Lund 74, and William P. Rutledge 63were elected to emeritus status. Yohe is the former vice chairman and director, Olin Corporation. Lund is senior vice president, marketing, Philip Morris U.S.A. Rutledge is former chairman and CEO of Teledyne, Inc. Also, Barbara J. Lombardo 83, partner, IBM Global Business Consulting Services, West Chester, Pa., concluded a
five-year term as alumni trustee.
The board chair is Alan R. Griffith 64, retired vice chairman of the Bank of New York. The former board secretary, Riley K. Temple 71, a partner in the law firm of Halprin and Temple, Washington, D.C., succeeded
Yohe as vice-chair, and Ahart succeeded Temple as secretary.
