Land of the Blind Sees Success
Writer-director Robert Edwards ’85 made his feature film debut in
May at the Tribeca Film Festival with Land of the Blind, starring Ralph Fiennes, Donald Sutherland, Tom Hollander, and Lara Flynn Boyle. In the satirical drama, a soldier switches sides to help a political prisoner overthrow a brutal dictator. The movie has been screened at other major festivals around the world.
The history graduate’s previous work includes the award-winning documentary Sumo East and West (see May 2004 Alumni News).
