Exceptional Issue
We always enjoy Lafayette
magazine but the fall 2002 issue was exceptional. I particularly enjoyed the article about the Tiffany windows ("Through a
Glass Brightly," p. 6).

Best Recruiting Tool
I have just finished reading the
fall 2002 issue. It is so magnificent. Could you send me extra copies to use during the interviews that I conduct with prospective students as an Alumni Admissions Representative?
Everything I say to parents at college nights will not accomplish one-tenth of what the magazine will if I just leave it lying on the table for people to look at when they come around.
Putting to one side the stories on the students and the other items which are so magnificent, including "Through a Glass Brightly," about the restoration
of the Tiffany window by my
classmate E. Crosby Willet, the article on the building of the
campus and its advancement ("Building on Success," p. 11)
will do more to advise parents
why their children should apply
to Lafayette than practically
anything else I've seen.

Kudos from Parents
The speaker, luncheon, and Communications Committee
meeting we attended revalidated our feeling that the faculty and administration at Lafayette are truly special. It is clear that every endeavor is designed to enhance the college experience of each
student.
As parents, we appreciate the opportunity to be included in the process. We are also extremely happy to know that during our daughter's college years she is being mentored by such talented, dedicated, and caring professionals.

We attended Parent Volunteer
Day Jan. 25. Our son, Brian,
joined us for the luncheon. He was happy to see a good friend from his residence hall also attending, and we had a chance to meet his mom. It was a very pleasant day, and we enjoyed it tremendously.
Once again, I am so impressed with the way things are done at Lafayette. We are always made to feel so welcome.
