Students in Arthur Kney's environmental site assessment course worked with local conservation groups to identify, catalog, and map potential sources of pollution in the Bushkill Creek watershed, including deteriorated stream banks, improper storm-water controls, and erosion. "Students are motivated to get involved with real-life projects that help our community and our quality of life. It's very rewarding," Kney says.
