Stefany Feliciano First of all, let me begin by saying that I will be the first person to tell you that I’m anything but ideal. However, I feel honored and privileged to have been recognized by my friends and peers as someone worthy of this nomination. I’m thankful for their companionship. They’ve made life at Lafayette bearable and rewarding. Now, for the most important question: Who the heck is Stefany Feliciano? Well, I can answer that very important question with one word...dreamer. I’m a dreamer and a firm believer of dreaming and the power of wishful thinking. Yes, I believe that everyone should have the right to dream for what they want out of life. With that said, I see my four years at Lafayette as years where I dreamt to find three things: love, peace, and happiness. And at Lafayette, I found these things and more. I fell in love with many of its people and the memories we’ve shared, I found peace on a campus surrounded by nature, and happiness, as well as frustration, in the organizations and activities I have been involved in. Although, it wasn’t all pretty and hippie all the time. Oh no. There were many occasions where I felt defeated and discontent. But all in all, I think it’s necessary to never forget to dream. I know I’m anything but ideal, and that’s just me. But if what I have done with my life here is meaningful to others, then I know I did, and will continue to do, the right things. I will continue to dream.
