My somewhat limited experience at Lafayette has revolved around a pair of large commitments I made coming into college: academics and football. Lafayette is blessed with tremendous professors who have made every class I’ve taken both challenging and extremely rewarding.

More than anything else, the professors with whom I have been involved have been responsible for taking what intellectual curiosity I already had and magnifying that to a whole different level. I feel confident saying that most students here owe at least some part of their future paths to Lafayette’s distinguished faculty and their wonderful ability to pass on knowledge.

The football coaches at Lafayette have served a similar capacity, providing a combination of instruction and discipline. I’ve learned a lot about football and about myself during my time as part of the football program, and much of that credit goes to our excellent coaching staff, as well as my teammates.

The success of any institution is dependent in large part on the quality of its leaders, and for the two aspects of this school in which I am involved, excellent leadership and direction is the norm. This has been vital in creating a very positive experience for me.
