Beginning this fall, 165 students will take up residence in the upper three floors of the new housing project being built by Radnor Property Group on McCartney Street.
The McCartney North building along High Street will feature single bedrooms in a mixture of one-, three- and four-person suites. McCartney South along March Street will offer double bedrooms in semi-suites (two bedrooms connected by a shared bathroom). Sophomores, juniors, and seniors are eligible to seek housing in the new buildings.
Also opening in the building this fall will be a diner at March Street and bookstore at High Street, both on the ground floor and open to both the public and campus community. The College Store will relocate from Farinon College Center. Its new and improved location will have street access, loads of natural light, upgraded interior finishes, and a café with a seating area.
The diner will be operated by Bon Appetit, and students will be able to use meal plans/PARD Dollars. It will be a traditional sit-down restaurant that, in true diner fashion, will serve breakfast all day.
Students will receive information from the Office of Residence Life in early February regarding how to apply for housing.
