Please join the Lafayette community on the water in Boston, Mass., to connect and learn about some of the exciting work happening on campus! As part of the series “Lafayette Legacies: Honoring Our Past, Serving the Future,” alumni and friends will have opportunities to learn from exceptional faculty and staff of the College.
Join President Nicole Hurd Friday, Nov. 6, as she welcomes Andrew Clarke, associate professor of government and law; and Stephanie Chan, assistant professor of government and law. Both Clarke and Chan are co-directors of GovLab, a student-led nonpartisan policy research group that applies social science methods to real-world governance problems. They will share how this innovative lab encourages civic engagement and leadership in our students while inspiring their own research and scholarship.
At the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, guests may tour the library before the event and then head to Smith Hall 6-9 p.m for food and beverage, with the program beginning at 6:30 p.m. We hope you will join us for a wonderful evening!
