Please join the Lafayette community to cheer on our student-athletes as the Lafayette Leopards take on the Miami Hurricanes for a baseball double-header in Miami. As part of the series “Students, Faculty, and the Power of &,” alumni and friends will have the opportunity to gather to celebrate the Leopards and learn how student-athletes excel with the help of our talented faculty—in the classroom and on the field.
Join President Nicole Hurd and Director of Athletics Sherryta Freeman as we learn about how baseball coach A.J. Miller ’11 was inspired through his advising and mentoring relationships, particularly his relationship with Susan Averett, Charles A. Dana Professor of Economics. Averett will also be on hand to talk about her work with Miller and so many other student-athletes in her time as an adviser and mentor, and her many years as the College’s NCAA faculty athletics representative.
The event will take place before Game 1 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, in the Hurricane Room (City National Bank Room) in Watsco Center. Food and drink will be provided. Whether you are traveling in for the event or are a Florida native, please wear your best Lafayette gear as we celebrate during this fun event.
Only season tickets are currently available for purchase. A link will be added on this page and shared with registrants when single-game tickets become available.
