School Spirit x 200It’s an event 200 years in the making!
Darius Rucker—Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, musician, philanthropist, and New York Times bestselling author, and member of iconic rock band Hootie & the Blowfish—will be performing at the concluding event of Lafayette College’s Bicentennial Nov. 20. While details of the finale are still taking shape, one thing is certain: Rucker’s headline performance will bring the yearlong celebration to an unforgettable close.
“As we move closer to the culmination of our Bicentennial celebration, it is an honor to welcome Darius, whose artistry spans generations of the Lafayette campus community,” says Nicole Hurd, president of Lafayette College. “This closing celebration and extraordinary performance promises to be a joyful occasion for the entire Lafayette family—a moment that honors our past and inspires our future.”
The concert on the Quad will conclude a day of activities open to the entire Lafayette community, leading up to the Rivalry Game against Lehigh on Nov. 21.
