North Carolina Botanical Gardens

Please join the Lafayette community in beautiful Chapel Hill, N.C., to connect and learn about some of the exciting work happening on campus! As part of the series “Lafayette Legacies: Honoring Our Past, Serving the Future,” alumni and friends will have opportunities to learn from exceptional faculty and staff of the College.

Join President Nicole Hurd Thursday, Oct. 29, as she welcomes Megan Rothenberger, professor and chair of environmental science and studies; David Brandes, professor and chair of integrative engineering, and Air Products Seifolah Ghasemi Chair in Engineering for Interdisciplinary Teaching; and Ernest Nkansah-Dwamena, assistant professor of environmental science and environmental studies. Learn about their innovative research and scholarship in sustainability, and the many ways they engage students in this important work.

At the North Carolina Botanical Garden, guests may tour the grounds and gardens during the day and then head to the Reeves Auditorium to enjoy food and beverage 6-9 p.m., with the program beginning at 6:30 p.m. We hope you will join us for a wonderful evening!
