Please join the Lafayette community in beautiful Evanston, Ill., to cheer on the Leopards and see the power of “and” in action at Lafayette! As part of the series “Students, Faculty, and the Power of And,” alumni and friends will have the opportunity to support our 2024 Patriot League champion field hockey team as they open their season with neutral site games on the beautiful campus of Northwestern University!

Come celebrate with the team Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, and join President Nicole Hurd as she welcomes Lisa Gabel, Rappolt Professor of Neuroscience, and Bill ’67 and Pam Rappolt, Lafayette benefactors and supporters of Lafayette and USA Field Hockey. Learn about how Bill and Pam were inspired by Bill’s time as a student-athlete at Lafayette to give back, and how his philanthropy fuels scholarship and research experiences for faculty and students that set Lafayette apart from its peers.

Guests may enjoy the game vs. Kent State at 2:30 p.m. at Northwestern and then join the team, alumni, and friends 6-8:30 p.m. at Luna’s Pub and Grill on campus. We hope you will come out for a wonderful evening! Fan gear and attire are encouraged!
